By registering, logging in, or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms and our Community Guidelines. You may not submit content, interact with other users, or access interactive features until you have accepted these Terms.

INTRODUCTION

These Terms and Conditions of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Cliqbox ("Cliqbox Technology LDA", "we", "us", or "our") regarding your access to and use of the Cliqbox website, application, services, features, and functionalities (collectively, the "Platform"). By registering an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Platform.

1. Eligibility
1.1 Information Provided Directly by You:

1.1 You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to register or use the Platform. If you are under the age of majority, you must have your parent or legal guardian’s permission.

1.2 You represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement and comply with these Terms.

2. Account Registration and Management

2.1 To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

2.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

2.3 Cliqbox reserves the right to suspend, deactivate, or terminate any account that violates these Terms or poses a security or legal risk.

3. User Conduct and Responsibilities

By using the Platform, you agree that you will not:

  1. Violate any applicable laws or regulations;
  2. Post or share harmful, offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, or illegal content;
  3. Exploit, abuse, or endanger minors in any way;
  4. Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices;
  5. Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform;
  6. Use automated means to access the Platform (bots, crawlers, scrapers, etc.);
  7. Host or promote prohibited activities, including but not limited to violence, child exploitation, or hate speech.

3.1. Reporting, Blocking, and Enforcement

User Reporting / Flagging

You may report any content or user that you believe violates these Terms through the in-app “Report” feature. Submitted reports will be reviewed by our moderation team.

User Blocking / Muting

You may block or mute other users. Once blocked, that user cannot view your content, send you messages, or interact with you.

Enforcement & Response Time

We commit to reviewing valid reports and taking action (removal of content, suspension or termination of offending accounts) within 24 hours of receipt of the report.

Notification & Appeals

When we remove content or suspend/terminate an account, we will notify the affected user (where permitted). If you believe a moderation decision was in error, you may appeal by contacting our support team at [support email / link].

Definitions of Prohibited Content (non-exhaustive)
  1. Harassment, threats, or hate speech targeting protected groups
  2. Graphic violence, gore, or depictions of harm
  3. Sexual content including nudity, erotic or explicit imagery
  4. Child sexual abuse / exploitation
  5. Spam, phishing, or fraudulent content
  6. Terrorist or illegal content, promotion of self-harm
  7. Copyright or intellectual property infringement

We reserve the right to remove such content immediately and take further action as outlined in Section 9.

4. Content Ownership and Licensing

4.1 Your Content: You retain ownership of content you post or upload, including text, images, and videos ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant Cliqbox a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, reproduce, and distribute such content in connection with the Platform.

4.2 Platform Content: All content and intellectual property rights related to the Platform, including trademarks, logos, and software, are owned or licensed by Cliqbox and protected under intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Platform without our written permission.

5. Activity Hosting and Marketplace Participation

5.1 Users may act as event hosts, activity organizers, or service providers through the Cliqbox marketplace. By offering such services, you agree to comply with local laws and industry standards, provide accurate information, and honor all commitments.

5.3 Payments made through Cliqbox may be subject to third-party payment processor terms. You agree to comply with those terms when making or receiving payments.

6. Booking and Cancellation Policies

6.1 Bookings for activities are subject to the terms presented at the time of booking. Users may cancel bookings in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined for the specific event or service.

6.2 Cliqbox reserves the right to modify or cancel activities, suspend hosts, or issue refunds when necessary for legal, safety, or platform integrity reasons.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is subject to our [Privacy Policy], which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with GDPR, CCPA, NDPR, and other applicable regulations.

8. Enforcement of Child Protection

8.1 Cliqbox enforces a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation. Accounts that share, promote, or facilitate such content or behavior will be permanently banned and reported to law enforcement.

8.2 Content found to be abusive or harmful to children will be removed without notice.

8.3 We cooperate fully with global organizations and authorities in the fight against child exploitation and will take all legally permitted measures to prevent and report such abuse.

9. Suspension and Termination

9.1 We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Platform at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, applicable law, or if your conduct harms the Platform or other users.

9.2 When such action is taken, we will notify you (where legally permitted). If you believe our action was in error, you may appeal by contacting our support team at support@cliqbox.co. Our moderation team will review your appeal in good faith, but our final decision will be binding.

9.3 Upon termination, your license to use the Platform ends, but certain provisions of these Terms will survive (e.g., intellectual property rights, disclaimers, indemnities, and limitations of liability).

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

10.1 The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." Cliqbox disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cliqbox is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Platform.

10.3 Cliqbox does not endorse or assume responsibility for any user-generated content, activity, or interaction occurring through the Platform.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cliqbox, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and partners from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to:

  1. Your use of the Platform;
  2. Violation of these Terms;
  3. User Content or third-party content posted through your account;
  4. Violation of any law or third-party rights.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date and notify you as required by law. Continued use of the Platform after changes have been made constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. f we update our moderation or content policies, we may require you to re-accept them before continuing to use interactive features.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

13.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Cliqbox is headquartered, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13.2 Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms will be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to arbitration or courts of competent jurisdiction, depending on applicable local laws.
